Woman’s Club presents donation

The Woman’s Club Buckingham County GFWC presented a check for $1,500 to the Buckingham Arts Center for upkeep of the building.
The building is an old school and is a focal point in the community, holding many art programs, such as a juried art show in May, Arts Camp for the youth in the summer, an open house at Christmas and is open for artists to exhibit their work.
The club holds its meetings at the center from September-May on the third Thursday of the month 2 p.m. Guests are always welcome.
