William Earl Leadbetter, 79, of Farmville, passed away on July 13, 2016. He was born on August 28, 1936 in Charlotte County to the late William H. and Ida Roberts Leadbetter.

He is survived by one brother, Lee Leadbetter (Betty Jo) of Farmville; a niece, Crystal Leadbetter; a nephew, Ronnie Leadbetter; and sisters-in-law, Doris Leadbetter. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Frances Wilson and Hilda Leadbetter and two brothers, Jimmy Leadbetter and R. P. Leadbetter, and a brother-in-law, George Wilson.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 20 at 2 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Madisonville.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19 from 6 p.m.–8 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home.
