On Sunday at 4 p.m., there will be a song service to benefit Trevor Carter, of Wingina, at Spears Mountain Baptist Church, 106 Meadow Creek Road in western Buckingham. Trevor is 7-years-old and was diagnosed with a diseased left kidney. He had surgery on June 8, where a portion of his kidney was removed. He is recuperating but is facing more surgeries and expenses not covered by insurance. Groups performing include The Burrells, Second Time Around and Jack Tyree. A love offering will be taken with all donations going to help with his medical expenses. All are invited to attend.
