Shepheard joins VDOT Dillwyn staff

Carrie Shepheard, has joined the Dillwyn Residency staff of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

According to a VDOT press release, Shepheard, a graduate of Old Dominion University with a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, will fill the role of assistant resident engineer and land use, a role previously filled by Scot Shippee, P.E., resident engineer.

“Previously a hydraulics engineer in VDOT’s Salem District, Shepheard also has experience in the private sector as an environmental and design engineer,” the release stated.

The Dillwyn Residency is responsible for roadway maintenance in the counties of Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland and Prince Edward.
