For several weeks now, the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts (LCVA) has hosted its inaugural series of Summer Wine and Brew every Friday evening. The events have brought the community together for camaraderie and fellowship while raising awareness for community organizations, the LCVA and events and causes in the community. The event has raised awareness for area musicians, the annual Summer Garden Opera and has brought in donations for the Virginia Children’s Book Festival.
