Homecoming, revival at Monroe Baptist

Monroe Baptist Church will kick off its annual homecoming on Sunday. The celebration will begin with the regular 11 a.m. service preached by the Rev. G. Wilson Monroe. Dinner will be served after the service. At 2:30 p.m. Homecoming service will begin. The Rev. Leon Jackson, from the Zion Hill Baptist Church, Farmville, will preach. Revival services will be held Monday-Friday. Prayer and praise service will start at 7:30 p.m. with worship at 8 p.m. nightly. The Rev. Richard Bailey Jr., from the Chester Grove Baptist Church, Amelia, will deliver the message each night. Various choirs from the community will perform.
