Their participation has been a significant part of the honoring of our veterans in past years. The Ruritan Club remembered two of its own during the program: Donald “Duck” Hudgins and Charles F. Lewis, as well as eight female soldiers.

Charles F. Lewis was honored with a silk flower arrangement of a harmonica designed by Special Touch Design Florist and Gifts.

Lewis will forever be remembered for playing the harmonica for each branch of the services during past Memorial services. Special thanks to Joseph Anthony for playing the National Anthem and taps during this year’s program.
