Else Gram Jennings Boswell

Else Gram Jennings Boswell, 82, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 after a long illness. She was born in Hot Springs to Marie and Ivar Gram on May 11, 1934. Growing up on Gram Hill was a place she loved and cherished until the end. She moved to Crewe when she married in 1955 and lived there on and off until a few years ago. She adopted Crewe as her hometown and was active in the Junior Women’s Club, playing bridge and golf. She loved to cook and entertain whenever possible. Her passion was walking. She walked all over Crewe in the 50 years she lived there.

Else is survived by her son, Craig Jennings and wife, Janice; three granddaughters, Carter Jennings DeChristopher and husband, Blake and great-grandson, Chase, Bailey Jennings and Mallory Jennings, all of Midlothian; her daughter, Margie Jennings Kestner and husband, Darrell of Glen Cove, New York; sisters, Sylvia Falero, Kathy Marshall and Teresa Long and her brothers, Ivar, Billy and Joey Gram.

She is also survived by her husband, Marshall Megginson, and was predeceased by husbands, Hugh Jennings and Swan Boswell.

A memorial service was conducted Monday, July 11 at the Burkeville Presbyterian Church.
