Despite the lingering clouds, the annual Fourth of July celebration at the Farmville Regional Airport drew hundreds of people from the Heart of Virginia Sunday evening. The rain held off for the event, which saw a spectacular fireworks show after live performances, including Bridget Carrington and Theory, which headlined the event.
