A three-alarm fire destroyed a single-story doublewide mobile home on Saturday night north of Centenary. According to Mike Lilly, the assistant chief of the Glenmore Volunteer Fire Department, the fire was reported at 10:52 p.m. at 1066 White Rock Road. Two people were displaced, he said. “On arrival, dwelling was fully involved,” Lilly said. “The home was a total loss.” There’s no word on the cause of the fire, Lilly said. No one was injured. Crews from Scottsville and Dillwyn volunteer fire departments assisted.
