Apartments on Granite Falls?

The proposed 120-unit apartment complex off of South Main Street causes two huge problems in my opinion.

It will negatively impact the values of homes in the adjoining subdivision. Tax assessments will need to be lowered, and people trying to resale will take losses. A wall 25-50 feet tall to protect their investments is strictly wishful thinking.

Traffic will be a nightmare and accidents will sky rocket.

There is a solution if Prince Edward County supervisors will work with the Farmville Town Council. The property on Granite Falls Boulevard already has the infrastructure in place.

Give the developer the land he needs for taxes and he can sell or develop the property in question with something less controversial.

Call and write your representatives if you agree.
