MY START: I started when I was in sixth grade, because my dad used to do track, and he was really good.

MY MAIN EVENTS: 3200-meter run, 1600-meter run and the 4×800-meter relay

MY INSPIRATION: Just to do good, because (track is) kind of like a challenge, and I like challenges, so if it’s really hard, then I’ll push more to do it, get first place.

HOBBIES: I like to cook, make stuff … (such as) cornbread.

MY TEAM: They’re really motivated and dedicated to what they do. They like to push (themselves) to get better, and they like to face challenges really well. They’re really good under pressure. They help me a lot. If I’m nervous before a track meet, my team (is) always telling me I’m going to do good.
