There is an unhappy citizen from Buckingham County about the tax increase.

Low real estate taxes benefit those who have the most: the biggest houses, the newest and biggest cars and trucks and the most land. If every parent in Buckingham County would send their children to private schools, there would be no need for a tax increase.

I want every child in this county to get the kind of education that every child from well-to-do families get. Every child is a gift from God. Perhaps the solution to high taxes is abortion, but that’s unChristian, isn’t it?
