Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Watts, of Burkeville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Leigh Watts, to John B. “Jeb” Hines. Jeb is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Hines of Rice.

Chelsea is a 2009 graduate of Nottoway High School and 2016 graduate of Southside Virginia Community College, where she majored in Medical Administration.  She is employed by Watts Auto Service.

Jeb graduated in 2006 from Fuqua School. He is self-employed as owner of two beef cattle farms and as a private contractor logger.

Chelsea is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart W. Covington Jr. of Crewe, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Watts Sr. of Burkeville. 

Jeb is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. B. Calvin Bass and the late Mr. and Mrs. Shad Hines, all of Rice.

An October 22 wedding is planned.
