Joan Carwile Wilson

Joan Carwile Wilson, of Prospect, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. She was born in Farmville on May 22, 1952 to the late Richard and Anne Carwile. She loved working with young children through her job at CPAC and HOPE.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 22 years, Bobby Wilson.
She is survived by her two children, Ashleigh Druen of Farmville and Rodney St. John Morris and his wife, Tammy of Richmond; three grandchildren, Stephen Jarrett, Chase Morris and Megan Clements; a sister, Carol Anne Reynolds of Pamplin; two brothers, Donnie Carwile and wife, Frances of Kentucky and Jimmy Carwile and wife, Eunice of Farmville. She was preceded in death by her parents and her oldest son, Chris Morris.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, June 13 at 11 a.m. in Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
