The Jaycees First Friday event, held last Friday at Riverside Park in Farmville, was a great success, due to the large number of people who attended. The event, though, couldn’t have happened without the hard-working, dedicated and passionate volunteers who make up the organization. Throughout their years in Farmville, the Jaycees have contributed greatly to the quality of life for both residents and visitors here, through organizing the Farmville Christmas Parade or initiating the Prince Edward Volunteer Rescue Squad. We thank the volunteers for putting in the time and energy to make our community such a great place to live, work and play.
