APPOMATTOX — A 30-year-old Gladstone man died in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday.

Kevin A. Angus died at the scene of the accident on Route 26, about 1.5 miles south of Route 60, said Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller.

“A 2011 Mazda 6 was traveling northeast on Route 26 when it ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned several times before striking a tree,” she said,

The crash was reported at 9:33 a.m. Trooper T.J. Morgan is investigating the crash.
