The South Central Virginia Genealogical Society will meet on Saturday at 1:30 pm in the Family History and Research Room of the Charlotte County Public Library located at 112 LeGrande Ave., Charlotte Court House. This month’s speaker will be SCVGS member John Almond, who will speak on how to examine and verify published resources, such as family histories, regimental histories, court records and census records. Everyone with an interest in history or genealogy is invited to attend.
