A benefit barbecue lunch and yard sale will be held on Saturday, July 2 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. to benefit the Cumberland Volunteer Rescue Squad.

The event will be held at the rescue squad building, located on U.S. Route 60, in Cumberland.

Barbecue will be ready at 11 a.m.

Lunch is $7 per plate, which includes pork barbecue, cole slaw, baked beans and a drink. Baked goods will be for sale as well.

Barbecue by the pint will also be sold for $8, and $15 for a quart.
