The annual meeting of The Friends of Sailor’s Creek Battlefield Historical State Park will convene with a picnic at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Battlefield Visitors Center, 6531 Saylers Creek Road. This annual meeting is also a new recruitment assembling of volunteers for this support group of this particular Virginia State Park. During the annual meeting, hotdogs, hamburgers and drinks will be provided free. Volunteers are requested to bring side dishes and/or desserts for the annual picnic.
