Published 9:57 pm Thursday, June 16, 2016

Mark your calendars. Wolfbane Productions, a professional, nonprofit theatre company based out of Appomattox, is proud to be hosting a series of movie nights every third Sunday of the month from June-October.

Doors will open at 7 p.m, and the movie will begin at sundown. It’s perfect for the whole family — and best of all — admission is free.

Wolfbane will kick off Movie Night with “Despicable Me” on June 19 — just in time for Father’s Day.

Other titles will include Disney’s “Tangled” (July 17), “The Lorax” (Aug. 21), “Bubble Boy” (Sept. 18), and last by not least, “Hocus Pocus” (Oct. 16) — which will include an optional costume contest.

Wolfbane Productions is about to begin its ninth season with its biggest and best roster yet. First up, and back by popular demand, the hilarious E”vil Dead: the Musical” (June 16-18). Next is “Monty Python’s Spamalot” (Aug. 11-Sept. 10), lovingly ripped off from the motion picture “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.”

And finally, the professional, regional debut of the family-favorite “Bubble Boy the Musical” (Sept. 22-Oct.15).

Tickets for the main stage productions can be purchased at www.wolfbane.org.

The Wolf P.A.C. is located at 524 Country Club Rd, Appomattox, VA 24522.

Popcorn and concessions are available for purchase. No outside food or drinks permitted.
