FBLA winners announced

At the May meeting of the Cumberland School Board, members recognized the winners in the Regional competition of the Future Business Leaders of America.
Those recognized were, Russell Curtain — FBLA First Place in database design and applications, Brittny Price — FBLA First Place in personal finance and state champion in personal finance, Kyle Shuart — FBLA First Place business ethics team, Sean Stimpson — FBLA Fifth Place in business ethics state competition, Sharita Brown and Katie Smith — FBLA First Place in public service announcement team, Allison Amos — FBLA Second Place in help desk, Amatul Fulani — FBLA Second Place in business communication, Erica Bryant — FBLA Second Place in computer applications, Ciara Gilman — FBLA Third Place in business calculations, Corey Patterson — FBLA Third Place in economics, and Hayes Turner — FBLA Second Place in public introduction to business procedures.
The Cumberland chapter of FBLA also received the following recognitions: Fifth Place — American Enterprise Project, Honor Chapter designation and Champions’ Challenge — Longwood Region Winner.
