FARMVILLE — Farmville has been ranked among the top 50 most affordable sunny small towns by Light Therapy.

The ranking was published on the organization’s website recently. Farmville was ranked 40th, according to the release.

“This ranking was created using data from NerdWallet and Sterling’s Best Places. The top 50 towns have small populations and a high annual sunshine percentage,” the release stated.

“Farmville maintains its identity as a diverse academic village, a center for culture and a family-friendly town,” said Mayor David Whitus. “We are happy to add affordable sunny small town to our resume.”
