Emmett Wesley Jamerson

Emmett Wesley Jamerson, 83, of Mooresville, NC, lost his battle with cancer on May 25, 2016. Retired owner and operator of Jamerson Logging Company, he was a great lover of music and loved to coon hunt with his beloved coon dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Stallings Jamerson; son, Charles Jamerson and wife, Relinda; stepdaughter, Rita Marley and husband, Michael; stepson, Steve Stallings and Gina Overcash; brother, Andrew W. Jamerson (Woodie) and wife, Dot of Powhatan; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mattie Ripley Jamerson of Dillwyn, four brothers and four sisters.

Services were held May 29 at Calvin-Cook Funeral Home and Southside Baptist Church with interment in Iredell Memorial Park in North Carolina.
