The Dixie Youth Majors District 5 All-Star Tournament begins on Friday at Wrigglesworth Stadium in Blackstone. In Game 1, the Dinwiddie National team will take on Charlotte County at 4 p.m. Crewe-Burkeville will face Dinwiddie American in Game 2 at 6 p.m. In Game 3 at 8 p.m., Prince Edward-Farmville Youth Association’s team will compete against Lunenburg.

On the second day of the tourney, the losers of Game 1 and Game 2 will play each other at 4 p.m. in Game 4, and the Game 1 and 2 winners will face off at 6 p.m. in Game 5.

On the third day of the tourney, Game 6 will feature the winner of Game 4 and the loser of Game 3 at 3 p.m., and Game 7 will feature the winners of Games 3 and 5 at 5 p.m.

The fourth day of the tourney will include Game 8, pitting the losers of Games 5 and 7 against each other at 10:30 a.m., and Game 9 will proceed at noon, featuring the winners of Game 6 and 7.

Game 10 will take place on the fifth day at 7 p.m., with the winners of Games 8 and 9 playing. If necessary, the sixth day will be for the rematch of Game 10 at 7 p.m.
