Members were advised to begin by making decisions. Weather conditions need to be considered when locating containers. What plants will fit in the container? What type of soil is needed for the desired plants? What containers will be used? Choices can range from antique, non-traditional, rustic or whimsical.

Wood illustrated her talk with photos of containers in Farmville filled with a wide choice of colorful plants.

Members present were: President Nancy Coxon, Carolyn Foran, Elaine Myers, Georgeen Carden, Betty Brown, Barbara Daniels, Claire Landis, Carol Allen, Janet Powers and Carol Miller.
