The Prince Edward County Automotive Technology Advisory Committee was recognized by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) as the Region 8 Advisory Committee award recipient during the Creating Excellence Awards luncheon held on June 9 in Richmond. According to the Department of Education, the committee has been vital in expanding opportunities for students by recommending curriculum, as well as donating cars, modern equipment and software widely used in the industry. We commend the committee for its interest in the success of Prince Edward County students. Pictured are, from left,  Dr. John W.
