Rios faces drug charges after stop

FARMVILLE — A 26-year-old North Chesterfield man faces several drug charges after Longwood University police acted on a tip Friday that led to his arrest.

Luis Enrique Calderon Rios is charged with possession of controlled substances, two counts of sale of drugs near school property-library, manufacture-sale-possession of a controlled substance and sale-distribute marijuana, less than a half ounce, according to police.

Acting on a tip, Longwood Police stopped … Rios on Friday on Race Street,” said Lt. Ray Ostrander. “After searching (him), police arrested Rios and charged him with three drug-related felonies and one misdemeanor.”
