The trustees and staff of the Patrick Henry National Memorial invite you to celebrate Patrick Henry’s 280th Birthday at Red Hill. The celebration will take place Sunday at 2 p.m. The special ceremony at the gravesite will include remarks from Patrick Henry Jolly, Henry’s fifth great grandson, followed by a presentation of colors and a wreath laying ceremony at Henry’s grave. The unveiling the Book of Liberty will follow the ceremony. There will also be guided tours given by Jolly and birthday cake of course. This event is open to the public.
