The Charlotte County Master Gardeners recently remembered Liz Walker, a charter member of the organization, by planting a fringe tree in her memory in Margy’s Garden behind the library in Charlotte Court House. Because Liz concentrated on the beautiful things in life, the master gardeners chose a beautiful fringe tree in her memory. On Thursday, May 12, a dedication ceremony was held where gardeners, her widower and friends gathered to remember Liz. Several people spoke about Liz, her love of life and her impact on them.
