LCVA hosts first ‘Wine and Brew’

The Farmville community gathered in the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts (LCVA) to enjoy wine, beer and fellowship on May 20 — the first of the new Summer Wine and Brew series.
The events, which are open to the public, will occur each Friday evening in the LCVA, through Sept. 23. The LCVA will remain open 5-7 p.m. on the designated Fridays and will provide free appetizers in addition to a cash bar with beer or wine selected by community members.
There will be a live band for select nights in the future.
