The Farmville-Prince Edward Historical Society will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Historic Farmville Train Station, located at 510 W. Third St. The program for the evening is “How Sweet it is! Farmville, Virginia”.

Local historian Jimmy Hurt will share pictures and information about the three soft drink bottling companies that were located in Farmville 50 years ago, including Coca-Cola, Nehi and Pepsi Cola. All are welcome to attend.
