The First Liberty Baptist Church, Dillwyn, held Mission Day on May 1. A memorial tribute to past missionary church members was held, and a presentation was given to Pocahontas Spencer, the oldest missionary member in the church. Youth from Gravel Hill and Spreading Oak churches participated.
