Members of the Farmville Police Department recently participated in a 5K race, hosted by the Alpha Beta Psi sorority at Longwood University. The race, held in late April, was in honor of Denim Day, a sexual violence awareness and prevention campaign. We commend the police department for its involvement in, not only this awareness campaign, but community programming and initiatives across Farmville.
