Several families recently celebrated Mother’s Day across the area. Alice J. Jones, Barbara Harris and Mary Abraham enjoyed the royal treatment given to them by their family members.

Family from Roanoke, Prospect and Five Forks enjoyed fun, food and fellowship at the home of Jones.

Each mother received gifts, words of appreciation and hugs and kisses that expressed how much they were loved.

Plans are already in the making for a Father’s Day celebration to take place in Roanoke at the home of Spencer and Deborah Jones. Family and extended family will spend the weekend touring the art museum, science museum and transportation museum.
