Cynthia Lynn Ayers, 59, of Dillwyn, died Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Lynchburg. She was born May 31, 1956 in Moline, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley G. Norman.

She is survived by her father, Thomas L. Norman; her husband, Travis J. Ayers, both of Dillwyn; two daughters, Joy McDonald of Ill. and Christina Vest of Charlottesville; two sisters, Deborah Keeting and Penny Lowe; two brothers, Thomas Norman Jr. and Daniel Norman and 6 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 19 from 6-8 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home.

Funeral services and interment will be in Illinois.
