FARMVILLE — A work day for volunteers will be held at the Farmville Grows Community Garden Virginia Cooperative Extension Family Nutrition Program.

The community garden is located at the corner of Blanton and South Virginia streets.

The event, which begins at 10 a.m., will include information on compost bins and fencing a garden.

Some tools will be provided, but participants should bring their own.
