FARMVILLE — The Farmville Jaycees will kick off its 2016 First Friday series on June 3 at Riverside Park.

The May event, which traditionally serves as the kick off for the season, was rained out.

The event, which will feature The Brian Graham Band, will begin at 5:30 p.m.

“We are proud to have Alcova Mortgage serve as our lead sponsor,” an event press release noted.

The Brian Graham Band is influenced by the classic rock sounds of James Brown, Stevie Wonder and Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Jaycees said. “In addition to the great music, we will have food, vendors and activities kid friendly activities making this a family friendly event.”

The event is open to the public.
