The top five readers from each grade level at Buckingham Middle School celebrated their reading success with a luncheon at The Tavern on the James Restaurant in Scottsville on May 2. They travelled in style in a stretch Hummer limousine. The top reader in the school was seventh-grader Bryan Bartlett. The top five eighth-grade readers were Monica Miller, Tajhmir Gough, Jacob McCauley, Kayleah Corral and Matthew Wright; the top five seventh-grade readers were Bartlett, Ramneet Kaur, Kira Canter, Meredith Delong-Maxey and Jaedyn Randolph; the top five sixth-grade readers were Brandon Witt, Cole Auten, Maxwell Ragland, Trenton Snoddy and Liana Friedel.
