The Heirs of the Living Water LLC held a talent show March 25 at Prince Edward County Middle School. The event was open to middle and high school students in the counties of Prince Edward, Cumberland and Charlotte. Winners were: Jasmin Simpkins, top, — first place ($350 prize); second place — Jacore Jones ($150); and third place — Kayla Copeland, bottom, ($100). Free pizza was served to approximately 200 who attended the event organized by the Rev. Franklin Royster.
