Superintendent’s Panel recognized

Dr. Amy Griffin, superintendent of Cumberland County Public Schools, meets every other month with the members of the Superintendent’s Panel, which is composed of students from grades 1 through 12.
At the meetings students receive division highlights directly from the superintendent and then have an opportunity to provide input and give feedback on issues within the division. The goal of the panel is to ensure quality instruction, services and opportunities for all students at Cumberland County Public Schools.
The following students were recognized by the School Board at the April 2016 meeting for their service on the Superintendent’s Panel: Haley Paschall (grade 1), Shane Robinson (grade 2), Laniya Alexander (grade 3), Madison Dayton (grade 4), Baileigh Meinhard and Nolanda Henderson (grade 5), Cyrus Dunn (grade 6), Samantha Tillett (grade 7), Jordan Cooke and Kevin Williams (grade 8), Jalen Foster (grade 9), Katherine Hodgson (grade 10), Jared Halvorsen (grade 11), and Ahkiya Allen, Jada Harris and Hannah King (grade 12).
