Noyes charged with distribution of marijuana

FARMVILLE — A 24-year-old Williamsburg man is charged with felony sale or distribution of marijuana and felony distribution of marijuana on school property.
According to Longwood police, James Noyes was arrested on the university’s campus after an officer smelled marijuana near a smoker’s hut at Tabb Circle.
“Further investigation revealed evidence that the subject had several individual baggies of marijuana and was charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana and possession with intent to sell on school grounds,” said Lt. Ray Ostrander of the Longwood Police Department. Noyes was released on a bond pending his trial, Ostrander said.
