Longwood University Go Green to Save Green Event

Renting a new place? Buying a new home? These are all fun and exciting steps in our lives, however, they can be costly. In today’s world we are trying everything and anything to save our environment but also save our wallets. When that first electric bill comes it can be a bit shocking sometimes. However there are various steps you can take in order to lower that electric bill.
Andy Farmer, Manager of Virginia Energy Sense, will be coming to speak to students and the public about how energy affects our daily lives. He will be discussing tips and tricks on how you can save energy which in turn can save you money.
There will be a reception with light refreshments served after the presentation from 7:00-7:30.
Visitor Parking will be provided in the the CSTAC (Communication Studies & Theatre Arts Center) Lot on the campus of Longwood University – Directions to the lot: From Main Street, at the traffic light above the high rise dorms, turn on to Wynne Drive. Proceed 1 block down Wynne Drive. Turn right on Pine Street. Continue about 1 block. Turn left into the CSTAC Lot.
