Focus Contemporary Art and the Scottsville Center for Arts and Nature (SCAN) will hold a presentation by artist Megan Marlatt on Wednesday, April 27, at 6 p.m. in Victory Hall Theater, Scottsville.

Marlatt is the founder and director of a unique artist collective known as “The Big Head Brigade.” The Big Head Brigade creates traditional Spanish-style papier-mâché heads and presents them in elaborate performances.

Marlatt will be speaking about her evolution as an artist and of becoming one who creates big heads.

Admission is free, and the public is invited.
