New Jerusalem Baptist Church of Appomattox will celebrate its 30th anniversary on Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at Courtland Field in Appomattox. A car show by Glento Allen will be part of the event. The anniversary service will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. John Williams and congregation from Chapel Hill, N.C. All are invited.
