FARMVILLE — Part of West Third Street between St. George Street and the Farmville Train Station will be closed Friday morning to accommodate road work.

According to Farmville Town Manager Gerald Spates, work will be completed on Friday to install a new storm drain under the roadway.

Milling and paving a portion of the roadway are part of the project, Spates said.

The road is expected to be reopened by Friday evening.
