Race Street Baptist Church, at the corner of Hill and Franklin streets, will celebrate the 24th anniversary of Dr. James H. Taylor III as its pastor on Sunday beginning at the 11 a.m. service. A fellowship dinner will follow; at 3 p.m. the Rev. Bryan Stevens, pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Powhatan, will deliver the anniversary message. Everyone is invited.
