New classes beginning at SVCC

It is not too late to take a class at Southside Virginia Community College this semester. Students can catch up or get a head start with eight-week classes beginning the week of March 14.
New offerings include online classes that can be taken from any computer. The classes are intermediate accounting II, specialized software applications, principles of microeconomics, college composition I, survey of African American lit II, ethics, principles of psychology and religions of the world.
Christanna Campus in Alberta is offering developmental chemistry for health sciences, intro to computer applications and concepts and college skills and the John H. Daniel campus offers basic switching and routing-cisco, aerobic dance and zumba and college success skills. At the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center in South Boston, the new eight-week classes are human anatomy and physiology including a lab.
