Helen Gertrude Mills Elliott Booker, 97, of Farmville, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016. She was born on October 6, 1918 to the late James and Nannie Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Scott Booker.

Mrs. Booker is survived by a sister, Hilda Reese; a brother, Billy Mills; children, Charles Elliott (Betty) of Appomattox, Nancy E. McKay of Hampden-Sydney, and Henry Scott Booker (Barb) of Orange, TX; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 16 in the Prospect United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
