VFW Auxiliary helps the free clinic serve the less fortunate

The auxiliary of Farmville’s VFW Post 7159 has agreed to donate $100 every month to the Heart of Virginia Free Clinic, located in Dr. Edward Gordon’s former practice on South Main Street. The donation is in support of the free clinic’s efforts to make the community healthier by serving those without insurance and the needy, according to Pat Payne, the clinic’s executive director. We commend both the auxiliary and the clinic for their work in the community, supporting our veterans and those most vulnerable in need of healthcare.
